We took a quick jaunt out to Revere Beach yesterday afternoon for some roast beef sandwiches. It was a bit cool and breezy as the temperatures went back to what it should be normally for this time of year. I must admit having hit the 90s the other day was a bit too early and too hot. Getting there took a little bit of extra time though as Boston was super busy with the Celtics in a playoff game, the red Sox playing at Fenway, and everybody in town for the Marathon.
Other than that highlight, it was a pretty non descript day.
Oh, in plant news, I somehow kept the orchids we got last September alive throughout the winter, and now one of them is even starting to bud again. Major victory for my amateurish green thumb I would say.
